What is live-in care?
‘Live-in care’ is different to 'visiting', ‘hourly' and ‘domiciliary' care in that the carer lives in your home with you. Your carer will provide you or your loved one with around the clock support and ongoing companionship.
At Hamilton George, we understand that many people don’t want to move out of their home that they love. They want to remain within their community surrounded by their possessions and memories.
Our carers are carefully matched to our clients needs, wishes and backgrounds, in order for them to seamlessly integrate into their lifestyle. Offering a helping hand at any given moment, our fully trained carers are emotionally intelligent and allow independence and autonomy wherever possible.
Having a live-in carer ensures continuity of care, on a schedule that suits you. Our wonderful carers and nurses are there to provide support and companionship as needs change and grow, all in the comfort of your own home.

Carer Training
At Hamilton George, we pride ourselves on only working with the best live-in carers, offering them unparalleled training and support from our Registered In-House Nurse. We understand that outstanding care is about more than just clinical excellence. Our clients and their families deserve care tailored to them, from experienced, capable and compassionate carers.
Carers and nurses complete all mandatory Care Quality Commission (CQC) regulated training, alongside a wide range of additional specialist modules to ensure they are equipped to support both common and complex conditions. This clinical foundation is further enhanced by ongoing professional development, annual refreshers, and personalised upskilling when client needs evolve.
In partnership with Debrett’s, our carers also receive unique lifestyle and etiquette training, enabling them to provide not only outstanding clinical care, but also a respectful, confident, and seamless presence within our clients’ homes.
